Parkinson’s disease is an irreversible nervous system disorder that primarily affects musculus-skeletal movement. While the progressive disorder can cause stiffness and slow movements, signs and symptoms vary greatly among patients.

Common symptoms include:
Tremors
Slowed Movement
Rigid Muscles
Impaired balance
Impaired Posture
Speech changes

Parkinson’s disease is caused by the gradual breakdown of brain cells called neurons. The loss of neurons leads to a decrease in dopamine levels, leading to abnormal brain activity. Only 5% of Parkinson’s cases occur before the age of 40, with incidence increasing with age. A majority of cases seem to be sporadic and of unknown origin – however, like most diseases, there is a significant genetic component.

Recent theories about the causes of Parkinson’s disease are based on abnormal fibrin production and deposition in the brain. Also known as the “amyloid hypothesis,” researchers have been looking at the role of abnormal protein aggregation in Parkinson’s and other neurodegenerative disorders, like Alzheimer’s disease. There seems to be a correlation between fibrin deposits and brain tissue degeneration, suggesting that the fibrin contributes to cellular death in these diseases. Similar to Alzheimer’s disease and Huntington’s disease, Parkinson’s disease involves the mis-folding of a specific protein, eventually leading to fibrin deposits.

There are several theories as to the underlying cause of Parkinson’s, from oxidative damage to environmental toxins – but the latest research seeks to understand why the dopamine-containing neurons are affected so greatly. In fact, by the time a Parkinson’s patient presents with symptoms, about 70% of the dopamine-containing neurons have already been lost. Current therapies aim to address dopamine deficiencies, but future therapies seek to address the prevention of neuron degeneration (cellular death of the brain cells).

Although systemic enzymes are implicated for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease, their use in similar neurodegenerative diseases has yet to be studied. Specifically nattokinase, which has been shown to directly dissolve the aggregated protein found in Alzheimer’s disease, may be an option available to those suffering from Parkinson’s disease.

Nattokinase is a natural systemic enzyme that helps to decrease fibrin levels in the blood. Nattokinase is also able to reach areas where fibrin has already accumulated – helping to restore blood flow and inhibiting cellular death due to oxidative damage. Perhaps the most promising aspect of systemic enzyme therapy is its ability to be used concurrently with other medications. The only restriction is upon the use of nattokinase, which should be discussed with a doctor prior to adding it to a regimen with prescription blood thinners. However, it should be noted that systemic enzymes do not cause adverse side effects or drug-drug/drug-nutrient interactions.

Combining two or more of the following treatments over several months is usually the most effective way to treat keloid scars:

  • Radiation therapy.
  • Pressure dressing.
  • Steroid injections.
  • Scar revision surgery.
  • Laser therapy.
  • Liquid nitrogen.
  • Verapil (topical cream)
The benefits of nattokinase and serrapeptase are numerous and remarkable. Don't wait six or more months to get results! Try Serracor and see result within the first 30 days. Both enzymes are shown to have a major impact on inflammation. Both nattokinase and serrapeptase are fibrinolytic enzymes. The function of these enzymes are to decrease excess fibrin. Fibrin is what causes scar tissues, increases healing time, and keloids. You will be amazed at the difference.

A keloid (say "KEE-loyd") is a scar that grows bigger and wider than the original injury. Keloids most commonly grow on the breastbone, shoulder, upper chest and back, earlobes, and face.

Keloids do not become cancer. But they can be bothersome or painful enough that you seek treatment. Keloids often grow back after treatment. It's possible to prevent a keloid from forming if you take steps to protect the skin after it is damaged.

Serrapeptase and Nattikinase are the most potent fibrin-degrading enzymes in the body.  Excessive fibrin in the blood can clog arteries and lead to various inflammatory diseases. Nattokinase and Serrapeptase are the two essential fibrinolytic enzymes that break down and cleanse the blood of fibrin.

Do #proteolytic #enzymes help #arthritis Try #Excellacor

Do proteolytic enzymes help arthritis?

Proteolytic enzymes have many important functions in the body, including helping break down food for energy, and are found in certain foods and supplements. Studies suggest that they can improve digestion, decrease inflammation, ease arthritis pain and possibly reduce symptoms related to IBS.Systemic enzymes on the other hand are perfectly safe and free of dangerous side effects. Best of all systemic enzymes can tell the difference between the good CIC’s and the bad ones because hydrolytic enzymes are lock and key mechanisms and their "teeth" will only fit over the bad CIC’s. So instead of preventing the creation of all CIC’s, systemic enzymes just “eat” the bad ones and in so doing lower inflammation everywhere. With that, pain is lowered also.

Enzymes facilitate countless daily reactions in your body to keep you alive. They perform many functions, including helping break down food for energy. Specifically, proteolytic enzymes break down and digest protein. They’re found in the body, as well as in certain foods and dietary supplements. Proteolytic enzyme supplements have recently grown in popularity due to their many purported health benefits

And here we come to the only warning we have to give concerning the use of systemic enzymes - don't use the product if you are a hemophiliac or are on prescription blood thinners like Coumadin, Heparin and Plavix, without direct medical supervision. The enzymes cause the drugs to work better so there is the possibility of thinning the blood too much.

#Pulmonary #Fibrosis and #COPD #Serracor

Serracor-NK 150/ 300 Vegetarian Caps Circulatory & Respiratory Support Systemic Enzyme Formula  Contains Enteric-Coated Serrapeptase & Nattokinase

DEAR DR. ROACH >>
I read your recent column on pulmonary fibrosis. I especially appreciate knowing that there are medications known to slow progression of lung disease, reduce exacerbation and reduce mortality. With a 20-year-old diagnosis of COPD and having been prescribed medications to reduce exacerbations, you might imagine my interest in your article.

I’m wondering how pulmonary fibrosis differs from COPD and if the two medications that you mention (pirfenidone and nintedanib) might be helpful in slowing the progression of lung disease in patients such as myself. Have any studies been completed using these medications on patients with COPD?
S.A.

DEAR READER >> Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease — its two main forms are emphysema and chronic bronchitis — usually, but not invariably, is a result of long-term exposure to lung toxins, especially smoke. In the most common case of COPD, due to cigarette smoking (at least, that’s the most common in North America and Europe: cooking fires are still a common cause in less developed countries), stopping the exposure will dramatically slow down further damage. Unfortunately, there are no established treatments that can restore lung function in people with moderate to advanced COPD.

Pulmonary fibrosis is, by contrast, a rare disease; about 30,000 people in the U.S. are diagnosed each year (compare that with the 9 million people in the U.S. diagnosed with chronic bronchitis last year).

The exact mechanism of action of pirfenidone and nintedanib is not known, but they are not thought to be effective in COPD. Surprisingly, I did not find a published trial looking at whether these drugs might be effective. The need for new therapies to treat COPD is so great that I would have thought some researcher might have tried it, despite the long odds.

The benefits of nattokinase and serrapeptase in the treatment of many major lung issues, like COPD is just remarkable. Both enzymes are shown to have a major impact on inflammation. Both nattokinase and serrapeptase are fibrinolytic enzymes. The blood thinning and oxygenating properties of nattokinase make it an appropriate remedy for COPD, Empsyemia and Pulmonary Fibrosis.  Symptoms matchup

PLEASE Leave us a #Review

How can you, the consumer, help small businesses succeed on Amazon ?

When we ask for "seller feedback" It helps us rank. Ranking means a lot because then we do not have to pay more to advertise. This economy has been crushing us for the last year. Not being able to qualify for any help from the SBA we have struggled with everyone from Amazon and the USPS to UPS raising fees.

Here is quick reference to leaving us seller feedback. Put it into perspective- have had been selling on Amazon for 4 years and have only 56 reviews. That is hurting us a lot.

Simply go to your "orders" on your Amazon account page and then you will see this screenshot above, just click "Leave seller feedback" It is SO easy and takes literally less than a minute.

The other button "write a product review" only pertains to the product and helps the maker/manufacturers

#Psoriasis Try #Serracor for #AutoImmune Diseases

 PSORIASIS

6 ways to manage itchy skin when you have psoriasis

If itchiness interferes with your daily routine, consider these strategies for finding relief.

People with psoriasis report persistently itchy skin as one of the most bothersome symptoms they experience. Itchiness can be painful, interfere with sleep and make it hard to concentrate at work.

If you struggle with skin itch related to your psoriasis, here are six strategies that might help you find some relief.

  1. Keep your skin moisturized. Dry skin is itchy and it can worsen the itch of psoriasis. Apply moisturizer daily. Use gentle soaps that won't dry out your skin. If the air where you live is very dry, use a humidifier to add moisture to the air.
  2. Stay cool. Being too hot can make your skin feel itchy. Use warm water instead of hot water for showers and baths. Wear light clothing if you're outside on hot days so you don't overheat. Turn on the air conditioning indoors to get a break from hot weather. Keep cold packs in your freezer and apply them to itchy spots for cooling relief. Some lotions include ingredients to create a cooling sensation, such as menthol.
  3. Don't scratch. Scratching provides only temporary relief from itchy skin. It actually makes your skin itchier because it activates the nerve fibers in your skin. If you find yourself giving in to the temptation to scratch, cover the area with confining clothes or a temporary bandage. Trim your nails so that they won't hurt your skin if you scratch.
  4. Be gentle with your skin. Wash gently, rather than scrubbing your skin in the shower or bath. Avoid harsh soaps that will dry and irritate your skin. Choose clothes with soft fabrics that won't contribute to itchiness.
  5. Avoid stress. Stress worsens itchiness. Take steps to reduce the stress in your life, such as making time for what matters to you and turning down additional responsibilities. Find ways to cope with the stress you feel, such as doing things you enjoy and activities that focus your mind on something other than your stresses. Consider meditation, yoga, and spending time with friends and loved ones.
  6. Talk to your doctor. Treating your psoriasis can help reduce the itchiness you experience. Tell your doctor how itchiness interferes with your daily activities. Together you might consider a new treatment strategy. Treatments specifically for itchiness are also available.

A condition in which skin cells build up and form scales and itchy, dry patches. Psoriasis is thought to be an immune system problem. Triggers include infections, stress, and cold.

The most common symptom is a rash on the skin, but sometimes the rash involves the nails or joints.

Treatment aims to remove scales and stop skin cells from growing so quickly. Topical ointments, light therapy, and medications can offer relief.

Very common

More than 3 million US cases per year

Treatment can help, but this condition can't be cured

Requires a medical diagnosis

Lab tests or imaging rarely required

Chronic: can last for years or be lifelong
