What is a candida cleanse diet and what does it do?

Some complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) practitioners blame common symptoms such as fatigue, headache and poor memory on overgrowth of the fungus-like organism Candida albicans in the intestines, sometimes called "yeast syndrome."

To cure the syndrome, they recommend a candida cleanse diet. The diet eliminates sugar, white flour, yeast and cheese, based on the theory that these foods promote candida overgrowth.

Stopping the growth of yeast in the GI (gastrointestinal tract), is the main benefit of a candida cleanse diet.

It's considered normal to find candida in the human gut (gastrointestinal tract), but an overgrowth of candida can exacerbate existing gastrointestinal diseases such as ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. However, there is little evidence that dietary changes can improve the effects of a yeast overgrowth if you have these conditions. Doctors usually prescribe antifungal medications to treat yeast overgrowth, which is diagnosed by putting a small scope into your stomach (endoscopy) and taking a tiny sample of your stomach lining (biopsy).

Unfortunately, there isn't much evidence to support the diagnosis of yeast syndrome. And there are no clinical trials that document the efficacy of a candida cleanse diet for treating any recognized medical condition.

NO worries the Floracor GI Enzyme supplement is shelf stable, unlike many others, it doesnt need refrigeration

Gluten Relief For #GlutenSensitive

 What you need to know:
Gluten Relief is for people who are SENSITIVE to gluten & casein. That said I was reading up on some facts ad ran across some reviews that slammed this product. Don't expect to have the ability to each all the gluten and carbs you want thinking you can just take this for a cure. People who have Celiac disease for example, shouldn't expect to go off of their routine. While we wish this was a cure, it is not. This promotes carb digestion for those people who are sensitive. Abdominal pain is the most common symptom of gluten intolerance, experienced by up to 83% of gluten intolerant individuals. For me, I found a decrease is gas, bloating and totally got rid of my little white dots on my arms. They didn't itch or bother me, but were ugly formally called keratosis pilaris , instead of covering up, this got rid of them.

Gluten & Casein Digestion

  • DPP-IV Proteolytic-Enzyme Complex
  • Supports Digestion of Gluten & Casein*
  • Promotes Digestion of Carbohydrates & Sugars*

    Optimal Digestion

Gluten Relief® is specially formulated with DPP-IV activity to support digestion of gluten and casein-rich foods*
The powerful digestive formula contains enzymes that support carbohydrate and sugar digestion, given that foods characterized by their gluten content, such as breads and pasta, are also carbohydrate heavy.*

    Gluten and Casein in Foods
Gluten digestion is challenging for many people. Gluten is a starch-protein present in most grains and processed foods. Similarly, casein is a protein found in most dairy products which can be difficult to digest, causing discomfort.

Maintaining a gluten-free and/or casein-free (GFCF) diet is the primary way people address digestive issues. However, trace amounts of these proteins can be found in many foods, making avoidance nearly impossible and allowing problems to persist. Foods with hidden gluten can be a problem for unsuspecting and discerning gluten-free dieters.

The underlying issue for people suffering from gluten and casein intolerance is their body’s inherent enzymes do not have the capacity to digest the offending substances. Incomplete digestion of these proteins may create digestive discomfort or nutrient deficiencies.

Scientists theorize that humans still have not caught up genetically with the introduction of grains to the diet that began nearly 10,000 years ago. Fortunately, advances in biotechnology are striving to bridge that gap.

Gluten Relief for Full-Spectrum Protein Digestion
Gluten Relief contains DPP-IV (dipeptidyl peptidase IV), an enzyme complex which specifically supports gluten and casein digestion.

Gluten Relief can be used in conjunction with a GFCF diet to support digestion of hidden gluten and casein. Gluten Relief is a comprehensive digestive enzyme formula with DPP-IV activity designed to support overall digestion.*
